Origin
Why we started this
West Palm AI began as a side project: a contracts team kept asking the same set of questions to the same set of LLMs, and the founder noticed nobody else had written the boring glue code that would let an operator just press a button.
So we wrote the glue. Then we wrote the second one. Then someone asked if we could teach the team to write theirs, and the course took shape.
The thesis hasn't changed: most operators do not need another tool. They need the one workflow draining their week to stop draining it. We do exactly that — either by building it, or by teaching them how to build it themselves.
What we believe
Four positions we hold loudly
Ops vocab beats engineering vocab.
Operators think in workflows, not pipelines. We name things the way you would name them in a meeting with the CFO, not in a sprint planning session.
Ship before perfect.
A workflow that runs ugly today beats one that ships polished next quarter. Every engagement starts with the smallest end-to-end loop that closes a real ticket.
Boring AI wins.
The AI work that actually saves time is unglamorous — five-line prompts, deterministic glue, careful retries. We are not the people to ask about AGI; we are the people to ask about Tuesday.
Teach the team that hires us.
Every build engagement includes a knowledge-transfer surface. We do not want to be a vendor your team cannot fire — we want them to fire us on purpose, because the workflow runs without us now.
